There are 5 types of IPL facials that we can perform, Diverse Beauty is proud and excited to show you the selection of facials.
Rejuvenation: Using the latest technology in skin treatments, we can use an IPL to penetrate below the skins surface, accelerating the promotion of collagen and the natural healing process of the skin, which will create healthy tissue eradicating the signs of scarring. The results are smoother, better looking skin, minimal discomfort and minimal downtime.
Wrinkle Removal: IPL treatment works to improve your skin’s overall tone and texture while diminishing any wrinkles as it uses a non-invasive technique to stimulate gradual skin tightening, which causes no skin damage.
Acne Removal: IPL (intense pulsed light) treatments that can help you to get fresher, clearer skin, designed to heal spots and scarring by flooding the skin with light & destroying acne-causing bacteria within the pores. Perfect for congestion, blackheads and spots.
Pigmentation Removal: Skin pigmentation can take the form of freckles, age spots or larger patches of discoloured skin. The most common form is hyperpigmentation, which is the excess production of the skin pigment melanin, appearing as localised patches, which are darker than the surrounding skin. The patches are typically non-raised, as the hyperpigmentation occurs beneath the top layer of skin.
Pigmentation can be caused by excess sun exposure, injury, post-inflammation/acne or hormonal changes. Laser and IPL treatment can help to reduce the appearance of many forms of pigmentation.
Intense Pulsed Light /Laser treatment is a method of treating sun-damaged skin. Over exposure to UV light can cause mottled/uneven pigmentation, open pores, sunspots and damaged blood vessels. Treatments using this system will not cure any medical conditions causing pigmentation or thread veins.
The purpose of the treatment is to achieve improvements in the appearance of the skin by improving skin colour, tone and pore size using Intense Pulsed Light to target excess pigmentation and thread veins.
Laser and IPL can improve the appearance of:
Thread Veins: Thread veins, also referred to as spider veins, are tiny damaged veins or broken capillaries just below the skin surface. Long-term sun exposure, pregnancy, rosacea, alcohol, smoking and standing for long periods of time can all attribute to broken thread or spider veins. They can appear anywhere on the body but are most common on the face and legs.
A very effective treatment for thread veins is IPL, which breaks down unwanted veins using an intense pulsed light. This targets only the unwanted veins, leaving the surrounding skin unharmed. A visible reduction in unwanted veins by as much as 75 per cent can be seen from one to three treatments and the results are permanent.
The cost of any IPL Facial is £79 per treatment and an average of 6 to 12 treatments are needed.
